Shoyo’s voice actor, Koichi Yamadera, updated his Twitter account today, with a new portrait purposely illustrated by Sorachi that he used as his profile picture.
He tweeted the image with a caption that said “Hideaki Sorachi sensei drew my face just for my Twitter profile picture!! The nasolabial lines on my face look clearer! He drew several versions of my face so I’ll change it from time to time. Gorilla… no, Sorachi sensei, thank you very much!”
Before this, he used a panel from the special manga/voiced comic drawn by Sorachi for the Gintama Ato No Matsuri 2023, in which he plays a major role, as his profile picture. The newly drawn portrait was made in reference to the previous layout he used.
