The Gintama stage at this year’s Jump Festa was nothing short of amazing as expected. As usual, Tomokazu Sugita, Daisuke Sakaguchi, and Rie Kugimiya were the guests, bringing in the latest informations on the franchise.
The crew looked back at the Ginpachi Sensei anime, which will end on Monday, and ended the first segment with Sugita telling fans to make sure to watch it. The crew then quickly changed attires, and began the following segment which focused on the upcoming Yoshiwara movie.
The newest, and gorgeous trailer for the movie was released, which also introduced the insert song “Sanzen” by Japanese band SUPER BEAVER. Fans around social media praised the quality of the trailer, citing how this is the best that Gintama has ever looked. The new visual was also released alongside the trailer showing the key characters of the arc.
Lastly, Rie Kugimiya went ahead and read the yearly letter by Sorachi:
Gintama The New Movie: Yoshiwara In Flames Arc will be releasing in February 13, 2026. The soundtrack for the movie will be releasing on the same day. Watch the trailer below
