The long awaited sixth soundtrack for the Gintama anime has been announced. The last soundtrack album was released on March 2016, making this the first (and last) release in 8 years. The album consists of songs used in the fourth season of the anime, Gintama. (2017) and the last seasons, Gintama.: Shirogane no Tamashii-hen 1 & 2 (2018). It’ll also include the soundtrack from Gintama: Enchousen, which were previously included in the latter’s DVD release, as a bonus CD for the upcoming album. Disc 2 of the album will also include live recordings of the Gintama SOUND ULTRA SOUL ’24 live concert held in February.
The album is scheduled for a December 18 release. Album cover will be revealed at a later date.
