Gintama manga to restart its Spanish publication, by Planeta Còmic

At the Manga Barcelona 29 on December 9th, 2023, Gintama was one of the many series that were announced for a future release in the Spanish language. The series was first published by publishing company Glènat between 2007 and 2009, ending only at volume 16, indicating a 14 year discontinuation of the manga. Old editions of the volumes are sold on the internet at extremely high prices.

The announcement brought an immense joy to Spanish fans.

As announced at the event, the manga will be published in a 3-1 volume, summing up to 26 volumes in total by Spanish publisher Planeta Comic, and has a scheduled release for March 2024. The cover/logo design is yet to be revealed.
